I am very disappointed. Everything I’ve tried to cook in this pan sticks. Useless for frying eggs.

The coating that Le Creuset applies to all of their black surfaced enameled pans sticks to food as it cooks. I mean really bad sticking to the point that the product requires almost full time attention. You are much better off buying a standard cast iron pan and conditioning it with oil the old fashioned way then buying any of these products. You will also save about 85% on your purchase.

This is an excellent product. It can be used on a grill. It is not a non stick product and is not as easy to clean as my All-Clad copper core stainless skillet which cleans very easy with Bar Keepers Friend. I don’t believe Bar Keepers Friend is recommended for cast iron. I use this skillet when I need the 9 inch size (don’t believe a 9 inch skillet is available for All-Clad copper core stainless skillet). Also, a cast iron skillet is preferred for preparing blacken fish and corn bread.

I bought the Le Creuset 2 quart casserole with lid and loved it, I needed a new small omelet pan as my old one was peeling non-stick and I use one every day for breakfast and single dinners. So, I thought I’d try this one after looking forever online and not finding one that fit my needs. I really like it, but I have to say it is very hard to keep clean. For some reason it gets stains on the enamel on the outside and bottom and doesn’t just come off with normal scrubbing. Also, make sure it is well oiled before use. It says non-stick but it needs to be seasoned well. I chose the green color and really like it.

Good price, fast delivery, great size for 1 to 2 person meals, performs very well on a gas stove.
